Matthew Saffran
My name is Matthew Saffran. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and raised in Airdrie. Sports have always been a significant part of my life. Growing up, I played a bit of everything, but my main focus is for golf, hockey, basketball, volleyball and snowboarding.
In May 2020, I was involved in an electric long boarding accident that severely injured my knee. Despite two major knee surgeries and years of physiotherapy and recovery, I was unable to fully return to the sports I loved. In 2022, I decided to channel my passion for sports into coaching and founded a sports organization called Peak Youth Athletics. Since then, I've coached over 1,000 athletes and volunteered in the community, including coaching at W.H Croxford high school. I also started a nonprofit club team to help athletes achieve their goals without financial barriers stopping them.
Giving back to the community is a core reason why I chose to become a realtor. Find a home is a monumental life decision and the dream for many people. As a realtor, I am able to help make that dream a reality.
